You can, but you shouldn't

The drivible app is used via a secure webpage in your browser, which makes the application more flexible than a traditional native phone app. When capturing an image of a drivers licence, the browser gets permission to access your camera via javascript (getuserMedia()) this allows the image to pass through the browser and to our secure servers.

However, it is possible to take a photo of a licence using the camera directly on your device and then using the browse upload functionality to upload - but we recommend against it. By bypassing the camera on the browser and taking a photo directly on the users device then the clients drivers licence image is now stored on your device. This could take up storage but more importantly storing a clients important information directly on a users private device is not recommended for privacy reasons.

If the image capture functionality is not working properly on your device it could be because your device is old or browser version is not up to date. If problems persist please reach out to us or get the client to take an image on their device and then email it to you.

Then you can simply drag and drop onto the drivible page.
